Sebastopol Owl

Not a perfect photo, but if you look carefully you can see her sleeping, downtown Sebastopol, in this palm tree, a beautiful owl. I was awed by her and although the city was loud and busy I thought I should be more quietly polite and felt bad for gawking and snapping the photo.

Couldn't quite make the owl out, but I know she/he's there. We've got lots of 'em around here. I love to hear them hooting to each other before dawn!

Bhagavad-Gita for Beginners

Edward, I bought your new book yesterday and read it last night! I have to tell you....I finally "Get it"!! I cannot tell you how many times I've tried to read the Bhagavad Gita, but never got very far before I realized I had no idea what was going on. But after reading your primer, I now get it and feel quite confident that when I pull the full Monty version down from the shelf I won't feel nearly as lost!! Really was such a great read!
